Reaching Pulga Himachal Pradesh
If you wish to hike to this less explored region of Himachal Pradesh, Barshaini is the last place till which bus can take you in Parvati valley. In case, you are driving your own car, you can drive up to Tosh, park the car and cross over to other side of valley which will take you on a 40-minute trek. The real thrill will begin when you cross over to other side of valley.
Even if you are among those who do not like to trek, this trek to Pulga Himachal Pradesh will amaze you. The climb is intense in beginning but soon enough, you shall get used to it and will love the experience.
Pulga still remains untamed as it is not directly connected to road like Tosh and Kasol which have been spoiled enough due to commercialization.

A Mesmerising Village Indeed
The village is indeed colourful and intense for someone who loves and admires being in nature. You will find a large number of bright coloured homes which are more in number today than the traditional mud houses.
One thing which makes Pulga Himachal Pradesh intensely different from others in the region is graffiti on the walls. An uncommon sign in India, leave alone Himachal! The walk around Pulga will always amaze you. Occasionally, you will come across people sitting in groups speaking Hebrew and before you feel in an alien land, you will come across group of women sitting and chatting in local language. A truly multilingual village indeed.

The village also has 2-3 shops like any other village but you will find everything from a needle to a other essentials here.
Pulga is fit for anyone looking for a break from work and the place has superb internet so that digital nomads like me can pen down a blog from the village alley as I am doing now sitting amidst raw nature of Pulga. If you feel alienated from the world and want to connect with yourself for a while, Pulga Himachal Pradesh is a perfect retreat. You can even make a quick hike to woods to connect with yourself and nature and feel the true essence of what we all call as life.

Though the number of guest houses are less in Pulga in comparison to Tosh, yet you will find ample stay options here. One of these is Marigold Hotel which has rooms will all essential facilities for Rs 1000/- to Rs 1800/- along with fresh homely cooked food. In case, you are foodie and wish to explore local cuisine, a number of restaurants are also available in this offbeat village which is still looking forward to road connectivity.
